Dashboard light on all the time ??

Hi, This seems a bit odd but the small instrument panel on dash which shows mileage trip counter and so on stays lit up all the time even when car is off and locked. Only noticed this last night when looking out the window and saw a light on in the car. Surely this cant be normal ??? As ever all imput greatfully recieved. Paul

If you do a battery disconnect this will reset this.
If you have sat nav make sure you follow the correct procedure for shutting down nav computer.
If you don't have sat nav you may need the radio code

Yep. This has happened to me before too. As suggested, a battery reset following the correct procedure should sort it. :}

Nothing to worry about, daughters ZT160 had the same for weeks, eventualy cleared itself

Thanks sounds like a nice easy fix, only problem is bonnet cable has just given up the ghost !!!!! therfore battery disconnection not an option at the mo. Thankfully just been serviced so dont really need to get in there urgently yet !!!

send a pm to a mod for the info on how to open the bonnet so you can repair the cable...
