hi all
im sure this has been asked before but i cant find it, i have a w reg 1.8 connie and would like to retro fit the prt system to replace the standard thermostat,is this possible?thanks

Theoretically it is, but obtaining all new OEM pipework will be either difficult or astronomically expensive. You've probably checked the layout on Rimmer's website, but here it is anyway: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001582

I suppose you might get all the pipes from a dismantler/scrapyard.

If you go ahead, remember to substitute the 'dummy' thermostat (called 'flange') in the original housing. This is shown as Item 16 in this Rimmer drawing (the non-turbo drawing preceded to introduction of the PRT): http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001696

Also, don't fit the OEM plastic upper T-piece (Item 2). Instead order a Gerry-T in stainless steel. And use proper Jubilee hose clips throughout.
