I have a chance of getting a under seat/in boot CD Changer from an 80's Range Rover.
Will it wire up to my standard Radio/Casette player in my 2002 Rover 75 and work from the CD push button?

Certain Alpine changers will work ok.

Any other makes will require an interface unit and the correct connectors..

Tell what model CD changer you have..

This one.
You can see the plugs there as well.

The changer in your picture is fitted with a blue mini iso connector and the

Harmony radio in your original picture is fitted with BMW connectors.

This means you would need to find out what each wire does on your changer.

Then you would need a BMW / iso connector to enable the changer to power

up.

After the above you would need an interface unit to enable the changer

to "talk" to the head unit.

All in all I would say that the answer to your question is no, the changer

would not work with your headunit.

Okay thanks for that Dave.
I was suspecting it wouldn't work and I think you have just confirmed that....
Thanks again...:}
