Kv6 inlet manifold question

Hello,just been keeping an eye on this over the last few weeks and its strange because when i lift the bonnet with the motor running some times you can hear a loudish clicking noise coming from the manifold near the battery box and other times its not there, it beats me :shrug:,so any help on this would be great, thanks alot,Lee

I could be wrong but if it is from near the battery box it sounds like the idle control valve.

It's quite likely to be the fuel purge valve, which relieves excess pressure . It will sometimes click away on tickover , and sometimes it doesn't !
