Hi ive been offered an alloy inlet manifold

Will a 1998 VVC MGF inlet manifold fit my 1.8t ZT?

Yes, it is a mod that a few members have done

no performance gains by fitting these and you will find one additional plug on the inlet that is not required.

with the inlet being made of alloy you will get a better seal and the inlet manifold gasket will give you greater life.

..oh i should add they look cool too.

Are the injectors different or is it a straight swap over of everything?

the only main difference is the air idle control valve is different, on the alloy inlet it is smaller so you will need to drill it bigger to fit the 75 one apart from that it is a straightforward swap

Thanks for the replies, also I have read the VVC inlet manifold has an extra support bracket how/where would I fit this to?
