Help and advice rqd.
New Intank and UB pumps and fuel filter fitted, now car is complete non starter. I've had 3 mechanics,(costing a small fortune for nothing) including a diesel specialist trying to fix car, but none able to solve the problem. Suggested causes:- Faulty regulator? in fuel tank, fuel cooler needs replacing or complete removal. The car was running perfectly before pump replacements, although in- tank pump stopped working 6 months ago, and just recently UB pump started vibrating loudly, with nearly full tank of diesel,( I've never gone under half tank full) hence replacements. It seems too much of a coincidence that the 'regulator' or the cooler should fail at the same time.

Fuel reaches filter through 'front entrance', but not thru 'rear entrance' from UB pump. Both new pumps have been checked and found to be working. I have also put in a brand new battery so engine turns over OK.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks: Regards- Rick E from Southend
