Many members will have become quite knowledgeable on particular issues and can obviously be of great help to others if they have similar problems or issues to discuss.
How about a brief intro covering the things you feel expert at or are very knowledgeable about.

Note this does not necessarily need to relate directly to our cars if you have a complimentary specialist subject or a knowledge you wish to and could share please say so

I will put my hand up for

Radiator Fan Motors and Control boxes
Sat Nav upgrades
Webasto Parking Heater upgrades and or testing
A reasonable understanding of what Testbook can and can not do
A strong interest in Gardening but perhaps not the place to discuss that on this part of the forum!
I work in IT so I hope I know a bit about the subject ;)

Sorry I am not going to put myself up for anything as any knowledge I have gained is from the forums and I do not feel knowledgable enough on any particular subject.:)

I just know where most stuff can be found :)

It's my Apple training. It's not what you know but how quickly you can access the information.

No idea what I would put my hand up for. Help required by ladies is about all I can think of, but then there would be a queue for this.

I have quite a few in my field and some have canker if I cut it out what should I treat the wound with?

Often members seem to run into problems with individual Sat Nav components

Sometimes testing in another car is the best way to identify a fault
I am happy to do this as long as you insure your item and include return postage costs etc.

Or you can bring your car to me (I can only test like for like) i.e Hi-Line parts

I am sure a few other members around the country may be willing to do the same.

We could probably do something similar with Radios as well

I'm not by any means an expert on the mechanicals, body work and interior features, but will try to help out anyone with diesel injections problems.

That covers:
poor/ non starting
rough running
lack of power
smoke and thirst
maf issues
tuning

Only Hi-Line eh. I wanted to send the bl**dy woman that's in my car to sit in yours and come back with something different to say than " When convenient do a U turn". I keep geting giddy, and my wife is getting suspicious ! My car's also getting fed up with being on full right lock though it does seem to sort out the fuel levels in the saddle tank.
By the way i see it wasn't about a rustproofing session at my house that you wanted to contact me on the 5th. doo de dum, I'm not saying anything.
A great effort by all in getting things up and running, feel all cosy now with our own site and so much faster, might get a bit more shut eye at night !

I am not so good on the technical aspects of 75s having not long got my first one, however, any members with ebay problems or problems with car purchases - Sale of Goods Act etc. I have all the appropriate 'legal' letters to send to get you a result! Also, anything related to the written word I can help peeps with!

As per my signature, have played a bit with the air inlet feed on the ZT 160 and fitted a new exhaust - I'm also hoping to squeeze a bit more at the next cambelt change at the MGOC workshops by getting the VIS active again so would also need some help loading a 75's 177 map onto the ECU.
Also play with MGBs and professionally deal with lubrication in industrial machines.

Count me in for lending a hand stripping your center console to work on the ICEor fitting aftermarket reversing sensors :)

I'm bit of an after market sat nav expert, I know all variants of TomTom inside out from v3 to v6 and on any format (pda, phone, one/go/rider/etc).

Off the car side of things, stick me down as your resident Internet guru knowing everything there is to know about wide area networks, s/a/dsl provisioning, domain names, dns, web sites, sql, iis, smtp rfc's, hosting, etc, etc :)

We had a customer enquire this week about having the parking heater etc fitted. We havn't done one yet but I'm sure it's something we can do but if there is anyone out there who has detailed knowledge of doing this I would dearly like some instructions please.

This How To is at a present a WIP, as in unfinished but has some information to get you started.
