POI's for dealers/ mechinics

I suggested this before, but with no takers....

Those of us with satnav systems might find it extremely useful to have a a set of POI's (Points of Interest) which included all of the MG-Rover dealers, mechanics and other specialists scattered around the country.

Has anyone got the expertise needed to put one together?

I think this software might do what is needed to create the file...

Alternative method....

How about those dealers (etc.) who have an intest in making themselves easy to locate - add their location to the bottom of this post?

Anyone know the best way to do that using Google Earth?

As long as we have the Longtitude & Latitude details, it's easy enough to create a POI list using that software methinks !

I created something similar for a bike forum. It listed all the Hein Gericke shops in the UK. I just searched the address in google maps and noted the Lat and Long readings for each shop.

Would be really good to have one for all the proven Rover places.

Come on chaps and chapesses - this might save someone a lot of grief if they break down miles from home needing parts and/or a reliable mechanic.
