Are these legal? obscuring the number plate light, surely it does not illuminate the plate as it should?

Something that concerned me at first but once fitted, yes it did reduce slightly but I would guess if you were driving behind me I would hazard a guess you would not notice it.

As for being legal, There is no problem if the other bulb is still working.

I did mention in my thread that if I was doing it again I would fit it in the center under the chrome lip. But that was for aesthetic reasons. It has no detrimental effect to the vision where it is. I can see the bottom of the number plate as it is a very wide angle lens.

I would have thought it was an MOT failure as if the light was out was my way of thinking mate

It will fit but If it is CMOS , You will have little to no Nightvision .. If it is CCD with SOny Lens I will order from him too !
Its cheaper than I Pay !

Also be careful It states NTSC , You guys Need PAL !
