A few rambling sat nav questions...

I know there is a learning curve with all things DD and the sat nav in particular...I have downloaded the igo8 manual...thanks Sean but....I still have a few questions and if anyone can help......:shrug::bowdown::shrug:
1) when I first somehow got it working I had a lovely blue rover car on the sat nav..now all I have is a dot....how do I get the rover back
2) if I don't want it on in the background can I just turn it off ?

Rebecca, may I suggest you PM me and I will give you my telephone number and I can talk you though how to charge it back to the "Black" not blue 75 (my car).
