Hey Folks,
After a lot of cars I finally fell in love with a 75 and what a car it is.
Its the first car that I have wanted to clean and to do work on not through necessity but just because I want to.
I found her on autotrader while perusing because my saab 93 had died and thought bargain 24,000 miles full service history £4500, maybe a bit steep after reading more on here but it was worth it to me at the time.
Ive added seans dd and the marmite lighting mod which is rather good, ive got a hankering for a walnut and leather steering wheel and a walnut gear knob.
Ive also just seen the chrome rear lights mod and possibly the chrome grill looks good.
Anyway added a couple of pics hope you like
cheers
John

I wouldn't worry, sounds a lot like what happened to me....glad to hear you are loving your 75, and good to see you here on the forum, and you have a very nice car there - I hope you really do enjoy it fully. ;)

Hi Mofo A little quote from your blog, I think we've both been smitten in the same way :D
"I am not mechanically minded particularly, I can do pretty basic stuff plus a little more on top, but owning this car has had an effect on me. I want to work on it, and, what’s even better, is I enjoy working on it. It’s all a learning curve but until now, no other car has prompted me to take such an interest in it. "

Indeed - and I think smitten describes it just right. Looks of good advice and information on here, as you have already found out, so take a good look around. ;)

Go with the chrome rear light's. I think i was the first to do this as i have not seen any other cars on here with it (though i'm sure i will be put right if i'm wrong ). It takes about 10 minutes and look's really good and totaly suit's the car.:)

Yeah you wil need two rolls of the chrome strip. Once you have done the rear lights you will still have some left over. I used some of this to go round the two interior light's. Another ten minute job but really looks the part.:)
