Good evening all
Ok. I have a 2000 plate Rover 75 2.0 V6 manual.......able to tow 1400kg........
I own a Compass Reflection 490, MAW 1200kg.....overall length 22'3"
Would this be ok, or pushing the boundaries ????
Sorry if this kind of question has been asked before :)

Don´t see why not.
The van shouldn´t weigh it´s max when you go off in it. Would thing that it would be at least a couple of hundred kgs under the max. The max for the towbar is usually a long way under what it and the car will actually take. If the car is in good condition, I can´t see why not. Take it for a spin först and see how it behaves;)

Hi Steve, I towed my Eccles with my 2.0 v6 with no problems, even up hill. Only issue I had was not being able to feel the van through the base of my seat, if that makes sense.
You have 200kg to spare, your van fully loaded weighs 1200,your car's max towing weight is 1400,so no problem at all
