The union jack/chequered flag motifs behind the rear side window assembly on both sides of my ZT have lost their sparkle:

Does anyone know ...

1. How are they secured and are they easy enough to remove without damaging anything?
2. Where might I find replacements (part number would be most helpful)?

Thanks

Here you go... (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-MG-Union-and-Chequered-Flag-badges-MGTF-ZR-ZS-ZT-/230601193057?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35b0e6f661)

Warm gently with a hair drier then use a bit of dental floss to gently tease it off

Hi Mate,

They are stuck on with a sticky pad, similar to the ones used when fixing the interior mirror to the screen if no boss was fitted. (Ford type)

I fitted these to mine as they were not OE on the early cars. Having not got one quite right when fitting, i got a hairdryer and gently heated the area. The badge came off complete with pad quite effortlessly. Did the same replacing the front grille and boot lid badges.

Link to Rimmer Brothers for the badge, but as said they are on ebay for a bit less than this.
