EuroCarParts are giving 30% off Discs & Pads. Code: BRAKES30

Cheers, Bill.

PS. Me, I wouldn't touch those on Ebay, sorry. Not when your life, (and others can depend on it)!

MangoMan is spot on with his advice, EuroCarParts sell these disc/pads http://www.pagid.de/en have them fitted to my car and they are excellent, i would recommend Pagid over any other make and never buy **** off the bay, i replaced front and rear at a cost of £150. Steve

I've had a full set from this company on my ZT for over 1 year now ..

The only prob I have found is the pads Squeal for a second or two when cold and at low speed.. otherwise OK ..

As for the braking all seem ok ,,, they make the ABS work hard so must be doing something right ;) :getmecoat:

do yourself a favour and get a set of Pagid discs and pads from Eurocarparts. 30% off at the moment when you go via the website and they are good quality, in security tagged boxes. Not what you may get off Ebay. £60 all in for the rear items at the moment.

Different P/N..... one starts with 101, the other 104. http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/MG_ZT_2.0_2003/p/car-parts/brakes/brake-friction/brake-disc/?104750048&1&d512d76aa7493c5fc33b078558b607e199e8e869&000027

on second thought after all this faffing about i'll get ebc ones on ebay makes more sense...

That is your choice sir, but as you will see the cheaper ones are Teves: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/MG_ZT_2.5_2005/p/car-parts/brakes/brake-friction/brake-pad/?101750048&1&48809ae2dc14a498396cf93d5aa5fafe2dc6b309&000036

And the more expensive ones: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/MG_ZT_2.5_2005/p/car-parts/brakes/brake-friction/brake-pad/?101110828&1&852090f8e6f09889ffe70a7ac85104391c2f919b&000036 are ATE/Teves, hence higher price.

That is the reason I believe. (Oh, and they have differing dimensions).

And I'm sure you know that parts sourcing does usually entail a lot of 'faffing' about, makes it more fun!

And not only that, the benefit with buying from Eurocarparts is that even though you buy online, if they are wrong you can take them back directly to a local ECP store and either get them changed or get your money back. I doubt if it is that easy on Ebay....?

Cheers, Bill.

LOOK BEFORE BUYING you may be lucky but think of your family or friends if your not.

Have a look here please.
http://www.pagid.de/en/news-mainmenu...4-fake-britain,

It will only take a couple of moments.
By the way this test was only "one fake set" off the bay and also available from some autoshops._
