We're almost at the point of buying now, but have reached a possible issue
We can't keep a van at home (drive not wide enough) but my mum has a carport at her house which was put in place when her and dad had the house built many years ago, with a high roof so it could accommodate their own van
Now in those days, I think vans were smaller! I've measured and we can go up to 7'6" wide and 8'3" high (length is not an issue)
Trouble is, the van we are looking at (a Sterling Eccles Emerald) is looking to be too tall. That is, the only measurement I can find is 8'10", although I think this includes the TV aerial
We need to know the actual van height, and also, if the aerial can come off if needed?
Ta in advance for any words of wisdom!
