dd unit with Tony Fry card

With the map on the screen with Tony Fry card, there is a small black line above and at the bottom the symbols and letters disappears for the half. Has anybody the same and if so, how to get it right?
Or am I the only one . . . . . .

I don't have one of the DD's but I'm sure I remember reading something about altering the resolution of the screen to resolve a similar problem - might well be talking rubbish though.

also not sure what the matter is, but have you checked the screen size in setup- ie 6:9. and also check the settings for transparency. under the different section.

I had this problem with mine.

If you exit the sat nav program then on the screen with the navigation, entertainment and setup buttons click on SETUP

Then click on screen and then adjust position, now you can adjust the screen to where it should be.

did what you tell me, but, the whole screen goes up, or down, or left or right.
And the bottomline wich I can see for the half, goes for the half with the whole screen round.
So it must be in the program where the bottomline is programmed to appaer.
Hope this is right spelling.
Think this is something for an ICT-person.

Guessing due to the fact that part of the letters along the bottom are missing too - I would suggest you have the wrong screen resolution set up somewhere in the satnav software, that is assuming you don't have a similar problem with the radio/ DVD screens.

Make a copy of your current sys file and call it sys(old), then replace the contents of your original sys file with the above.

Or you can try just renaming your SYS & BRANDING files to (old) and then replace with the files from here...

No, that doesn't help either. The bottomline stays for the half, and the screen changes sometimes without touching. It goes hours okay, and than it changes into another and back several times in a few minutes. And sometimes every 2 seconds for a minute. When this happens, there's a rattling noise in the unit. Have formatted the card and reloaded but problem stays. I have placed the primo on the card next to igo but that gives an error by installing, says: not the right screensize, but the size is right, 800x480. I'm out of ideas now. :(
