View Full Version : The 8 Ball Diner Witham Sunday 27th November

Rabett_Rover
2nd November 2011, 19:55
Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the clubs public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meet in any way

I am pleased to announce the next local meet for the gang :D

Venue:
The 8 Ball Diner,
London Road,
A12 Northbound,
Witham, Essex,
CM8 3HB

The Date & Time
Sunday 27th November
From 11:30am - till its dark:D

The Diner does a mean burger, and well experienced in handling car meets with a car park for up to 90 vehicles.

It is dead easy to get to being right on the A12, for those of us coming from the Colchester or Ipswich direction take the Rivenhall exit just past the diner and then follow the road round.

I thought I’d open it at to all MGR cars like the one at the Halfway House in Essex I went to last month, if you all happy with that?

Thank you Lewis dear boy, a splendid turn out.

Ordered a take away around Colchester though, and it too still hasn't arrived, must be something in the air today ...

What a wonderful collection of people, cars. and humour - spiffing stuff!

Oh, and that Yellow Bannana - I'm properly jealous - I want one too please!

Great to have representation in the East, (at long last - poke poke)

I've even paid my tenner just now, in recognition of the youthful and contagious enthusiasm of our very own 'Regional Secretary'.

Don't worry Phil, some people don't appreciate that some times practicality has to take priortiy over Vanity.

As it is fair to say that I know you well, I stand by what I say in that your motor is far by one of the most pampered in the club, having wanted for nothing regardless of cost and is one of the few cars owned by people on here i'd ever consider buying.

Wait till the summer, get your export specs on (when the roads are salt free and there's little chance of bad weather and show them how wrong they are. (Some may even get a little jealous that your wheels are worth more than some peoples cars, going off of ebay prices!)

Chin up mate,

Looking forward to the next one ( Maningtree Lewis? )
I think Godders 75's post may have been misconstrued a bit as I'm sure it wasn't intended to offend anyone.
All the cars at the meet were a credit to their owners and their commitment to keeping these fine automobiles on the road.
These cars mean a lot to us all as we put so much into them. As was said earlier, look how many of us were there compared to the other car groups!
Look forward to seeing you all soon.
