Heated rear window

Hi, does the heated rear window come on when the temperature outside goes below a certain temperature. when I got the car in the summer it didn't come on unless I turned it on, but now with the colder weather it comes on as soon as I turn the ignition on. Is this correct. Regards, Wayne

yes thats right i think its got to be below 5c and it comes on auto

Mine seems to be below 10 degrees on the dash.

mine is the same as yours, if it drop below 10c the rear heated window comes on it self.
