Glad I don't have to fill up every 10 days or so as I was doing whilst at work.

£1.92 for E10 at Tesco Hatfield.

Makes me wished I had followed through with a conversion on mine. I wonder if lPG will be difficult to get in a few years time if, as some predict, a large number of fuel garages close down?

the big players in LPG have all pulled out. Here in leicester im struggling to find anywhere. None of the supermarkets here sell it. None of the big garages shell/bp have all stopped. i have a morrisons just down the road from me and they dont sell it. Luckily we have a flogas outlet here but he has not had regular deliveries for the last 12 mths . Its hit and miss. How much is to do with the ukrain / oil issues , i dont know . Seems that more and more people have gone over to LPG for central heating and i suppose get pref deliveries on priority for heating. Stewart is lucky he can get his at morrisons ... for now , as they were on the list of withdrawing too !! ...

all my places to fill up are in a 12-15 mile radius of home. Mostly Morrisons, but one of the Peterborough ones is a gas wholesaler and is usually a lot cheaper). \i fill up whenever I am passing any of them.

Yeah, when it was being pushed my local Tesco started to stock it. The pump has been deleted a couple of years ago when they renewed all the tanks.

Esso at Flamstead seem to still stock it but I'll double check when I next visit in the light of your comment.

Just rang up this morning, the welcome break services at leicester forest east . They have the typical north and south bound services facing each other on the M1." Nope " was the answer ," we dont stock it anymore." AND if they cannot make it pay , then .... unless its a problem of supply ..

I was reading a car site the other week & they were saying insurance companies are now calling E5 & LPG 'Specialist fuels' with more & more petrol stations not supplying them because of low profit margins. They said the forecourt makes 80% of it's revenue through the shop with coffee & food to go & only 20% on fuel sales.

I'm running my Morris Oxford on E5 with lead replacement. The new engine being a NOS crate motor from the 80's or 90's at the latest is unlikely to have hardened valve seats & has zero lead memory.
