There are 400 planes in Russian airports belonging to international airlines, Moscow has just passed a law allowing the aircraft, worth almost $10 billion, to be entered onto its own register  Kerching

The airlines definitely need to contact Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford or Julia Somerville, they'll sort it.

I've been reading about Germany lately regarding their reliance on Russian gas, They've been buying every floating LNG gas regasification supertanker it can get it's hands on with four bought in the last few weeks alone.

They're having a LNG gas terminal built in Brunsbuttel by a Dutch company but they take almost five years to build & the German energy minister said It wont be just more expensive than the Russian gas we've been used to, it will be exorbitantly more expensive
The German government is also preparing to take over essential energy companies/infrastructure if Russia suddenly pull the plug on gas

LOL I'm not 100% sure but from what I've been reading I think Renault & Nissan have relinquished their auto plants there too.

Without spare parts, those aircraft will soon be grounded, why are Russian airlines using Boeings and Airbus, because they can't manufacture the hi -tech items these need to fly, and old soviet era aircraft are just too expensive to operate ,Same goes for the Auto industry, Even Lada, had to partner up with Western firms to get the modern tech that people expect in their cars, Putin may have the car plants, but without stocks of parts, everything is global just in time, there will be no parts to produce anything other than a bottom of the range car, and even then, they will struggle to buy the raw materials.

You know the writing is on the wall when McDs pull out of Russia.
I remember, when the Americans moved into Iraq, Burger King moved in simultaneously.

If McDs pulled out of Boscombe, there'd be nowhere for the drug dealers and local tea leafs to meet up.

I suppose there is always the nearby police station during the evenings and weekends :o

Oh er missus! The Moskvich car of yesteryear could be making a comeback as Moscow takes over Renault's assets & nationalizes the Renault car plant  https://todaynewspost.com/auto-news/...-renault-exit/

Naughty, but they don't have the routes (internally) or passengers for this to have a huge advantage!

Agreed, The EU is preparing for the Russian gas taps to be turned off now with a oil & fuel imports embargo on the horizon too  We'll be heading for 1973 all over again with fuel shortages if we don't pull our finger out. https://www.euractiv.com/section/ene...-supply-shock/
