There cannot be any doubt about the legal aspects of auditing. Every law firm has annual audits as a matter of law, ask any solicitor about the need for a backward glance.

Social media is definitely not entirely social in the traditional way of things. Neither is it genuine, rather more anti-social judging by the rows it seeds and revels in. It is in fact revolutionary and sometimes in shockingly bad taste. In spite of many successes it is frequently an object lesson in how not to behave socially.
In this instance, to consider this as 'auditing' is typically 'woke', and an effort to legitimise status.

Not trying to agree or otherwise, just commenting on the changing world and general attitudes to social trends.

Couldn't agree more.

Sorry. Couldn't stop myself.------

No doubt a comment made by Harold's friends just after the arrow incident.

That's a first Jon, alloying a Hastings picnic with the scourge of S&M. No, not sausage and mash.

When I viewed Maninder's first YouTube link it is explained that there is a new definition of "auditing" which is completely unconnected with accounting (the only definition in my dictionary) and used by people engaging in social media.

The fact that people actually do this defies me. Also, the comments on the videos tells of a sorry state of how some people think these days.

I was keen to find out if it was just me that cannot relate this type of activity.

I agree, to me auditing is something carried out by a professional.
In order to carry out their roles, these YouTube "auditors" should also be qualified and licenced, to give their description some credit.

These qualifications should be internationally recognised, so I suggest their activities should be practiced in various countries such as in the Middle East, South America, Africa, Asia etc.
North Korea would be an ideal location for them. :getmecoat:

Sadly, it would appear to be another corruption of a credible British word from America.
