Because some idiots can’t do as they’re asked. I saw two neighbours standing close to each other yesterday standing with another couple who’d a car and a trailer, so there’s three households coming into contact. Saw another person entering a house of a couple in their 80’s and he walked straight in. Do you require me to go on? Stupidity in my opinion isn’t fixable but the government is trying their best. Next move would I presume be Marshall Law although I feel after the things I’ve seen and heard it should be started by now

Idiotic, selfish cretins that really don’t get it :duh: |
A lot of people don't think it means them, today while my wife and I were on our daily walk said to two youths who had obviously just met up that they should social distance, they looked at us as if we had grown another head and then someone they new also told them and then they moved apart, old habits die hard.
Sadly it will probably take someone they know getting it badly for it to sink in but as has been said if it saves one life this letter has to be worth it. My sons have now not seem there girlfriends for 3 weeks and the way it is going it will be a few months before they do again. |
Seems to me that this is a clear case of ‘preaching to the converted’
Those that will read it, will already understand what is required. Those that need to read it, Won’t and don’t care. So, to use a modified well known saying: “We are sending letters to the public costing £5.8 million” “Let’s spend it on the NHS instead“ |
I think it's a bit presumptuous to think the selfish dimwits can read, I wonder if it will be translated into many languages, including TXTSPK for the hard of thinking :getmecoat:
It appears this doesn't apply to the teenage cider drinkers, as they are indeed invincible :getmecoat: |
Have you seen this from a UK binman? https://imgur.com/gallery/dUgdCLl

Ah! Right, here's the pic from one council refuse depot. https://i.imgur.com/aANfFGK.jpg |
According to my local rag, the Gazetteonline, police issued a ticket to someone who claimed they had never heard of Coronavirus, and wondered why there were so few people about. Now that is taking the Mickey, I hope his £60 fine helps him remember from now on .:shrug:

Martial law? (ftfy btw) Really? Do you seriously believe that shooting people to save lives can be blanket justified? Perhaps you don't understand what you are saying when you suggest it? Using the army against the population it's intended to defend is an act of tyranny. Way to provoke civil war. N.B. there's 65-68 million uk citizens perhaps 20 million fit enough to fight. There's 120,000 total in the army - They'd struggle to clamp down on the major cities let alone subdue the whole country. Quote:
Well - I'd feel sorry for the poor person unaware of the situation being caught out by a law restricting the freedom that is normal in this country. The police take the 'Mickey' here. And in today's news have been told to be consistent and fair in the current crisis. |
