My car can easily stand two weeks off with no starting issues.

A quick update. After doing multiple checks and tests I have found that by removing fuse 3 from inside the cabin fuses (the cigar lighter fuse) the resting current drain drops to 0.082 both with the car locked and alarmed and unlocked.
With the fuse replaced I get a reading of 0.183 now I have a fuel burning heater that is activated by a text message and the unit that controls this gets it's supply from fuse 3. Has anyone done a drain test on a Diesel and does 0.08ish look about right? Cheers, Dave

The current consumption drops in stages and the minimum is achieved after about 20 minutes of everything that is under the driver's control being switched off.

I did extensive testing on my CDT about 2 years ago and published the results on here. You should be able to search and find my post. It gives time vs actual current readings which were in accordance with the spec.

Just make sure that it really is fully charged Dave. By that, I mean by using a mains powered smart charger for 24 hours as close as possible to your departure for the airport.

0.087 is the reading on mine until it goes into sleep mode after two minutes. Then it is, I think, 0.02.

Good tip. They're a very useful piece of kit for the small size.
Someone rescued me with a drained bike battery using one last year.

Some better/ bigger than others. Currently Aldi are doing one for cheaps.
I keep meaning to get one.
