It was the AZ jab I had, after a couple of hours today, getting back to normal. Bit sneezy, took a Sudafed, and now feeling fine.

Had the AZ jab on 14th, February, apart from the area where the jab went in felt like it had been punched really hard for a few days and a bit of a headache that day I felt fine.
Second jab due 3rd, May, I'll have that in the other arm to keep me evenly balanced :getmecoat:

My wife, a nurse, was felled for days following the 2nd dose of Pfizer. Vaccinator mentioned she might have a greater reaction to the 2nd dose, that was an understatement! Muscle pains, nausea, severe lethargy. Seemingly a few of the staff had a similar reaction to varying degrees.

I myself have had the first jab, AZ, tired and went to bed early that night, that was about it.

I had AZ two weeks ago and initially I was fine but a couple of hours later I felt like my legs were stiff. By the following day I felt like I was getting over a bad cold. The worse was the second night, I woke at 3am covered in sweat and shivering, a glass of water and some paracetamol seemed to help . Over the next few day I felt better with just some minor aches in joints and muscles.

A good friends son had his last week and he collapsed a couple of mins after the vaccination and he had to stay there for a couple of hours while they monitored his stats. The following day he was fine.

As much as I didnt like the feeling after the jab the possible alternative is even worse and with the potential of not being aloud to go places or enter some establishments when things start getting back to normal it has to be worth it. The wife has hers on Tuesday and she is getting worried.

A nurse we know who is vaccinating at her surgery reckons there is a theory going around that people with the worse reactions possibly have had Covid without knowing it.

I had the Pfizer and felt a bit rough the next day, not too bad headache and ached a bit. My two kids had the Oxford version and were both really unwell for 24 hours

Pfizer

I had the Pfizer jab 2 weeks ago and had the best 3 nights sleep after but that was it.

Had mine a couple of weeks ago, I had the Pfizer, stiff neck in one direction and in the small of my back for a couple of days. I understand the oxford one has stronger side effects for some.

Can everyone please state which version of the jab they have else it is difficult for people to gauge side effects of the version they have.

Had my AZ 11th Feb, no effects at all. Second one booked for April 22nd. Both at local surgery.

I had the Pfzier jab on valentines day with no problems. My wife had the Oxford one the same day, no problems.

A friend also had the Pfzier on valentines day (there's a common thread here somewhere) and the next day he had a high temperature but was fine after a nights rest.
