I live in Barnsley and drive to Manvers in my BR Green Connie Diesel most days otherwise - if it's not snowing, raining etc., I'm on my black M/cycle and if it gets really sunny and no snow, rain etc., (yeah like that will happen soon) then I'm on a white bicycle... if only I had a 'plane for the other times!

Lotsa roundabouts and lotsa folk who don't know that there are two lanes on them so if I'm turning right and you/they are not, then please GETOUTAMYLANE :p:.

PS: Note to self, "Get a louder horn" :}.

My old man bought the offy in 1977, but I left Goldthorpe in 1979 when I joined the RAF, Having said that your name sounds kinda familiar. Did your parents keep tropical fish?

Got a mate who lived on Main St, called Mick Johnson. Know him?

That was my sister and her husband Fred Lyons. Lived at no. 83 Main street.I also kept coy in my old ladies back yard Back in the day I was 18st plus with ginger hair. Not a pretty sight. Still got reddish hair but 8 stone lighter! still not a pretty sight though!...Ank.

Sometimes pass through Goldthorpe, but im mostly on the East side of Doncaster where the airport is (On the old RAF camp). Lived a while in Conisbrough back in the late 90's though.

Goldthorpe pass with the 101 roundabouts can be fun, its great for keeping the tailgaters (usually BMW or Audi drivers) at bay, watching them trying to keep up round the corners :D
