What give the game away with them is when you use one to charge flat battery which has cells inside it in poor condition.

Your gizmo might after only a few hours charging turn on the green charged light. This tells you that the part of the plates that can be charged have been charged. However this does not tell you how much current is available in the battery for work !!!!

The amount of time it takes from a flat battery to that green light will give you an accurate idea how much electricity you have managed to put into your battery. It also tells you what condition the plates are in. The longer it takes for the green light to come up the better condition the plates are in your battery.

If you have time have a look in the thread on the main page with the title the ------really, really useful info thread.

Look at the analogy of the two water tanks as that gives a much better idea of what is happening as far as capacity in your battery is concerned.--( I have a couple of posts in there on batteries. )----:D
