As Stubie blatantly trades under the radar so to speak, but fails to point out the shortcomings of his "dye" in real world use when used to recolour your steering wheel, I can recommend the use of this product to seal the finish.

The same company also supplies dye, and if it's anything like as good as the quality of the sealer, I expect the longevity to be far superior to Stubie's offerings

If you are using Stubie's "dye" as a standalone product, you can expect to renew the finish on a frequent basis, this is especially true if using it to change the existing colour of a wheel ;)

May sound silly but which one did you use Brian? Matt, Satin or Gloss?:}

I used satin Les, at least it seems to have toughened up Stubies emulsion so it doesn't wear off after five minutes :getmecoat:

I am usually a mild mannered man and usually have time for everyone but your constant jibes at the dye on a thread that I started 5 years ago has led me to one conclusion....

That you are a complete a hole.

Can I ask the moderators to close this thread please.

Now now Stuart, just think of all of the money you have saved by selling, nay trading "under the counter".

So your inferior product which you have claimed as the panacea to worn steering wheels, doesn't work very well in the medium to long term.

Here you go, I think you've mislaid something ;)
