Hi Ian, mixed feelings about that:

Started off with a trip to a market in the morning as it's what the wife likes to do ( Keep her happy my life is so much easier :) ) Very crowded and if I'm honest a little uncomfortable.

Now we wouldn't normally but after so long not going anywhere we decided to venture into town to go to the cinema for a change in the evening, there were 8 people in the entire cinema, all wearing masks even though it was not mandatory. Plenty of young people about in town with no masks but certainly not crowded.

Nice to people watch with a beer on the street corner bars with the tables sensibly spaced.

It is certainly clear normal isn't normal by a long stretch.

We are however keen theatre goers and it will be certainly a conflict of interests in the coming weeks as we have two or three shows coming up that are full capacity events. Luckily we booked a box for these shows so we will be safely distanced but it is a lot of people.
