It look like your original thermostat is working as it should, the temp is about right for this time of year, it would most likely be in the 86C to 88c in the summer time, you should also be getting some decent heat from the A/C thank you for reporting back to us.

Yes, the heat level was very comfortable. it was set at the same level throughout.
