More likely the trapped wire flows due to pressure of screw with repeated hot/cold cycles..

Well I've found some of the screws really loose and not even in contact with the wire. I really don't see how the wire shrinking could possibly no longer be in contact with the screw.---:shrug:--and still make it continue to undo itself. |
