My father used to be a Police Class 1 driver and was on traffic for years in the '70s. He told me that when he went to the class 1 driving school the first thing they were told was to "treat everybody else on the road as an idiot!". It was only a matter of weeks ago the car I inherited from my father (his pride and joy) was written off when an idiot came straight out of a side road in front of me. As tonight's episode unfolded in front of me I thought "not again!" :(

My da used the exact same words to me .:D

Good morning Derek - its white, frosty and flippin' cold here too. Definitely need some hot porridge to warm me up - I'm off to my monthly bottle counting/stocktaking session at the Club so I'll have to de-ice the Rover. Extra layer on today I think :}
