Custom Dials Gallery - Lots of pictures!

Here's a thread dedicated to all the custom dials I've done so far :) The custom dials are £30 and I also do custom needles which illuminate with the backlighting for £30, good for black dials as standard needles aren't visible on black dials at night :)

I have various standard designs, however I can also do fully custom ones to your own individual requirements :)

Thanks Tony :) the most popular so far have been the black mustang dials, have made quite a few sets of those. Got a set of black inverse dials being fitted tomorrow which I shall try to remember to take photos of :)

I'm interested in getting Ford probe Dials done.

There is company in Poland that does them, but the cost due too export rates is pretty pricey.

Would you be interested giving it a go? :D

I could probably do them, all would depend on how the original ones are made and fitted. I'd defo be up for it mate, but would be a couple months before I'd be able to get round to having a look. Making the initial design takes hours and hours of work and I'm currently really busy at the moment.

That's not a problem at all no rush at all, yes I've got quite a few spares here so if you want too experiment on one go for it. :cool:

That's the design I'm after not too modern but not too dated just right for the Ford 90's era. :cool:

White background with Red dials and led's or lights like a tint blue stats too change too red as it gets closer too the rev limiter. :cool:

Almost like a two tone affect like the modern Mustangs have. :D
On the rev counter A ford racing Logo.

and on the speedo side a text in a Ford font.

Custom Rover 75 OEM Style Dials

Here's a set of dials I created which look very close to the original OEM dials with some subtle differences such as the new larger Rover 75 logo. A 75 owner in Austria contacted me asking if it would be possible to make dials which look like the original factory ones, but wanted to have the MPH speedometer added in addition to the standard KM/H speedo for his european model, and if some additional text and logos could be added.

This is what I was able to create.

Really pleased with how these came out and how close they are to original OEM dials. Hardest part was trying to get the perfect colour match for the dials. Hours of work but well worth it

So I can now make OEM dials with subtle changes if you'd like to go for something more original I can also do MKII 75 dials as well

Custom Blue Xpower Dials with White LEDs

This a set of blue dials with white markings I made recently which received a lot of positive feedback and interest on the facebook groups. I actually have received orders for another 3 of these to be done next month after the new year :)

I was asked to do a set of custom dials in blue with the Xpower logo on the speedometer, and to also provide a matching analogue clock face. This was actually the first time I made a set of dials in blue so was interesting to see how they'd look.

These dials were installed with the LEDs converted to bright white which lights up the markings on the dials very clearly. I was originally asked to fit blue LEDs, however blue LEDs behind blue dials doesn't work very well as the colours clash, preventing you from being able to read the dials very well. So I advised to go for bright white.

Also, the LEDs for the IPK screen and lower mileage/trip screen were also swapped for bright white. The IPK screen and lower mileage/trip screen both have a natural blue tint to them, so even though there are white LEDs installed behind them, the screens still light up blue however the digits and text light up in white which works really well, especially on this set as the two digital screens match the dials i.e blue backgrounds and white text/digits and markings.

The clock was also done to match :)

Yes replacement dial face for the analogue clock is included :)

are they easy to fit, dont like the idea of removing needles

Not a fan of the green LEDs but the inverse dials look fab.

Just when I thought I had decided what I wanted you produce those Black Inverse dials, they look fantastic.

Could the time clock needles be painted white to show up against the black faced dial?

I'm going to have to pay you a visit soon....

Whatever colour the LEDs are behind the dials :) with any of the black inverse dials I offer I recommend having the LEDs changed to brighter ones. Apart from the factory orange LEDs on mki 75 clusters, the white leds on mkii 75 cluster and mki ZT clusters and also the blue LEDs on mkii ZT clusters are quite dim and not really bright enough to make the black dials as clear as possible. So I always recommend having them changed to brighter ones :)

Have been working on these for some time now and finally finished designing and testing them. Something new and completely different, a more modern look for your instrument cluster with all four needles starting in the pointing down position like on many new cars such as Audi's and Mercedes

I'm now able to do carbon dials with a carbon effect background on the dial faces as well. I can do this on any of the dial designs I offer such as the mustang dials, inverse dials etc.

Just like to say a big thank you to Rick for all the effort he put in today changing over my instrument cluster.

Very pleased with it and it looks even better full illuminated in the dark, those brighter LED's make a big difference.

Hi yes wer fine bud yes thats the one ,,, but on the dials i would like MG ZT 190 on one and Avator on the other....I will also being paying for kick plates before 31st December.....Most prob drive to you for fitting :) ...If we dont speak before have a fab xmas and prosperous new year ...wer talk dials in new year as i do not know how long you need them or you can do when i come up for kick plates to be done ?
