What bits should I keep from a CDTI tourer?
So sadly my cdti was uneconomic to repair after a suspension failure and crash I have replaced it with an near identical car :)
I have started putting all the best bits on the new car. What other small bits do you think are worth keeping? So far I have some new ABS sensors rear shocks and exhaust and new engine mounts. I was going to keep injectors engine management 2 keys immobilizer gear box ECUs and ignition lock, rear glass as I understand these are difficult to get. unfortunately I cannot store the whole car its almost guaranteed i will need some part I have scrapped. |
What about intercooler battery tray AC condenser

I know from experience a bonnet will not fit inside a saloon :duh: easier to swap over if you're scrapping it. |
door window glass. as many nuts, bolts and screws as possible.
boot liner studs etc. too :} |
I’ll buy the drivers wing if it’s in very good condition.

Hi,
Did it have Cruise control? I'm looking for a clutch switch to replace my faulty switch. |
So it looks like some people may want some parts off of it.
once I have finished my swap over the rest will be available I will post pictures on here yes it has working cruise control |
Cheers for your reply about the seats :-)
It's great if your written-off car ends up properly recycled as far as possible. |

where is the pressure relief valve UBP?
So I have started taking bits off if any one wants needs any body or interior wise Full leather let me know the drivers wing is not particularly good the passenger doors wings are good. bonnet is ok a few stone chips. What is left will be collected by the scrap man in the next couple of weeks. I would hate to see the interior go to scrap but know to store one is a lot of space. The auto gear box and engine are also quite good if anyone needs one. Is it worth keeping the Auto box valves I think you can remove them from the side or something (radiators etc are now removed) |
Great to meet you today @Rover_75_Owner - thanks for the rear seats, and helping me get them out.
It was a v nice drive from Cambridge to yours and back and gave me a chance to enjoy the 160 re-map that @MarinaBrian performed on my car a little while ago - it doesn't do too many miles these days so a good blow out was just what it needed! Jolly good luck in shifting as many parts as possible - and enjoy your new 75 Tourer! |
Hello my camshaft cover has cracked and needs replacing .
Also my rear silencer is past its best. do you have these items available for sale ? Many thanks, Jon |
