These are in a 30 ml bottle, excellent for repairing worn or scuffed seats and trim.

I have dyed a black auto gear knob sandstone and if goes from dark to light it would be no problem the other way, so yes it could but you'd obviously need a few coats.

Russell , yes I have Sandstone left.

The black leather seats colour is called Ash Grey and the lighter grey on the steering wheel is called Smokestone Grey. I have some Smokestone Grey ready but I am waiting on the Ash Grey, hopefully it will be here by the weekend.

Just to say after you get the sandstone touched up, and throughly dry, give it a bit of a sheen using Mr Sheen or any wax based furniture polish.

suffered couple cracked ribs, very small amount of internal bleed and a very stiff back (glad my natural padding broke most the fal:Dl).

As stated light coats giving it a good time to dry, then add some sheen using furniture polish, good luck

Great dye stubie. Does the v8well. I have a new TT which is showing signs of wear on drivers seat.seat goes White where dye rubs off. Contacted Audi they cantbdo dye will just change seat cover? I've used yours onntt and it's great match thanks.

Well my dye came quickily last week.

Asked in the office today, what did you do at the weekend. Dyed my steering wheel I said, much guffaws, wheres you flat cap, tweed jacket etc.

1 hour later one of the chaps comes back in from a cig , steering wheel looks good he whispers across.

and it does, and i have still to add another couple of coats.

my son noticed as well.

my wife didnt. Now if I could swap the car for an identical V8 without her noticing ............

This is after 3 layers with drying time of 24 hour's after each layer and on the end soaked in leather grease for 24 hour's .

Ash Grey - MGR's Black?

Changed my car and now need some black dye for my MG ZT-T, the trim code is PDQ, the seats look like black leather to me but is that Ash Grey? I have heard mention in other threads that ash grey is not 'pure' black?
Can you help?
Have e-mailed you but not sure that it worked?

I did reply saying a few ZT users have used the dye for the black parts of the seat and the match is good.

Did anyone ever get a Deep Sea Green leather dye? I would like to oredr some for my steering wheel.

I have to say that I am disappointed with the colour match. I just refurbed my wheel with about 10 coats of the dye:

Its more like Smokestone than Sandstone IMHO. Apologies for the poor pic, it was taken this morning in the Summer Sun. The shade difference really is quite obvious.

Well I am sorry about that CDTi, it could be Smokestone was labelled up wrongly and send to you by mistake. From feedback the match seems to be spot on.

I will get another Sandstone in the post if you PM me your address details.
