Mg zt-t 180 auto typhoon tourer ***SOLD***

5 Attachment(s)
The time has come to sell my typhoon tourer.
It really isn't getting used enough , its a waste having it sat idle.
The car will be well known throughout the club and has had a lot of attention on it of late.
From its stainless tailpipes to its refurbished alloys.
Seancar fitted a replacement engine for the previous owner in 2013 due to belt failure. The replacement engine had a new belt kit fitted prior to instillation and had around 18k less miles than the car, currently on 131k miles.
The car drives very well with no known faults beyond a sticky vis motor.
It comes with a early wooden , perfect fitting rhodium dash . Fully functioning highline nav and subwoofer ,factory fitted xenons/powerwash,rain sensor, black contemporary face lift heated memory electric interior, load cover and limo black privacy glass.
It comes with refurbished unmarked straights with 500 miles of wear on brand new matching tyres. The asking price can be lowered by £100 by taking the car on hairpins with 4 very good tyres.
In the attached pictures you will see a before and after picture , on damage to the front door and wing , causing it to be category markered `c`. There is also a scuff on the nsr door.
This seemed to only be due to the cost of the paint and is nearly unnoticeable since repair. It had a vic check in march , with the certificate and had a fresh mot in may.
Any inspection is very welcome :}
As for price £1195 with straights and
£1095 with the hairpins.
*****THE REG PLATE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. ITS MY FRIENDS PLATE AND NOT NEGOTIABLE*****
oh and any questions please ask.
The front window deflectors have been removed from the car since taking the pictures.
The car is shown here with both wheel options to help.

Having supplied the interior that is currently fitted to this car I can tell you that it looks great. :D

Very clean with some wear on the drivers bolster. Very nice and rare seats for the tourer.

This car is well worth a look mate ;)

Just because I know, I will give an answer on Andy's behalf ;)

Bumpity bump

shiner 29th October 2014 21:45

Alright ,could a mod please modify the price on the thread to show £1195 with straights and £1095 with hairpins. Please be aware this price is due to me wanting the car to go , ideally over this coming weekend. No issue to a purchaser however the tax expires on Saturday and i am not going to re tax it. This revised price is set and has on movement in it. Any viewing welcome , just pm to arrange. As previously mentioned the car is worth more in parts than what its up for sale for , so please no messages next week asking if its still available :eek:thanks

If your debating over this car then please stop and just buy it. It really is a cracker and you will not be disappointed. ;)

Hello Dave
The exhaust is standard with stainless steel rolled ended tailpipes drifted onto the box interference fit. There is no cruise control , although thats about all that is not fitted.
Thanks for the question Dave , thought the forum had gone down :getmecoat:

ProfDave 1st November 2014 17:37

Dave questions are welcomed, the wheels have been painted in the smart repair bay , at the main dealer that i work. I do have other wheels that have been powder coated and not fitted since, and a good set of used 11 spokes 8/10
The tyres are the correct size 225 45 18 95w pace alventi . fuel efficency c. wet grip c , noise level 2 db 72 . All matching and as new with no repairs.

Hope that helps

Also a decent set of original floor mats aswell ;)

ProfDave 1st November 2014 18:50

is it an 02 or 03 car and what is the VED!?

last Q I promise

shiner 1st November 2014 18:53

The car will revert back onto a 03 plate and the ved is £280 per yr. However it can now be taxed monthly

Lottysvdub 2nd November 2014 14:41

Really nice looking car .... Could be interested ... Is the car in Reading ?

Hope Andy does not mind me answering in his behalf ;)

Andy is based in Wokingham, just outside Reading (just) ;)

Lottysvdub 2nd November 2014 15:20

Ah ok ...
I am looking for a tourer and was interested when Stu owned it . Then unfortunately it was damaged and it seemed to fizzle out as it looked to be doomed to go to the scrapers .
I was really interested in Drewsta's too
And then I looked at Alan's as an option .

scorpio stu 2nd November 2014 15:23

Sorry to but in but still get notifications when there's a reply on the thread. It's a superb car and as far as I was concerned only ever lacked comfort. Now Andy has fitted full black leather the comfort is going to be far superior than it was. I just wish I was in a position to buy it back.

ProfDave 2nd November 2014 15:41

privacy glass

was this a factory fit option??? Or is it post applied

my head is starting to hurt:duh:

The privacy glass is not standard. Although it has been professionally applied and there are no air bubbles at all , looks OEM . There is also no fade on the tint , and from inside the vision is still good.

alanjay 2nd November 2014 19:22

Can't believe it's still not sold, I've seen it and also know, if Andy (Shiner) is selling it, it's a good 'un.

shiner 3rd November 2014 20:49

Hello
Still waiting to hear back from a member regarding buying the car , subject to the outcome of that .. , think its been viewed by everyone and been for sale for more than enough time.

ProfDave 4th November 2014 21:22

hoping I can prevent disaster here cannot see this broken

shiner 5th November 2014 00:31

Could a mod please add the word *SOLD* to the thread title.
Thanks to all who passed positive comment on a car i have been lucky enough to have had the pleasure to have owned.
Sure you will have worked out who the new owner is , if not sure he will make himself known real soon.:}

ProfDave 5th November 2014 07:28
