NANO MEETS 2018 ( Join Us ) On 23rd/24th June

Hello all members /owners.

Our Third Nano meet of the year is not far from starting June Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th 2018.

At our usual venue the Four Ashes Public House.

You are all welcome to attend so hopefully see quite a few of you at one if not more of them throughout the year, you can find our calendar on our nano forum, the link is also at the bottom by my signature.

There is free camping on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd June for those that want it, either bring your tent, caravan or sleep in the car.

Also there are plenty of local B&Bs/ hotels at reasonable prices, details on the links page of our website below for those that do not fancy camping.
http://www.midlandsnanomeets.co.uk/links.html

There is a full English breakfast with tea/coffee on both Saturday & Sunday mornings 10.00 am for around £5 but we need to get the numbers 15 minimum, therefore if you are coming please state if you would like breakfast, saturday or both days, there is also a Saturday evening meal if you wanted to join in the social part the Saturday evening.

As always there will be advice & help for those jobs you would like to tackle and have not got round to, we also have free T4 sessions sometimes we have two T4 which helps cut down the waiting time.

I will be carrying the usual free plenum spy hole mod trays, intercooler bends with added Viton O-rings, Viton coolant cap O-rings, amongst other items etc.

More details on the Nano website via the link in my signature below remember our moto.

Fantastic turnout the first day of the June meet 30 + cars, once again quite a few new faces, big thank for Ian g for the items he brought and gave away free to any owners whom wanted, they did not stay unclaimed very long.

Thank you Pam for the hot drink, cheers mark for the push with the SSC as always, and a big thank you for all whom make these meets a great place to meet fellow owners which is all of you who decide to turn up, hopefully tomorrow Sunday will be just as busy even though the WC match is on, don't forget you can watch it in the pub if you attend ;)

Home safe and sound from the Nano at the Four Ashes..
What a wonderful time we had with friends both old and new.
A massive shout of thanks to everyone of you that came to the gathering and made Jan and myself so welcome..:D:D
A special thank you to Steve, Rob, Dave and the rest of the team for their helpful and patient guidence through the jobs and for doing the more difficult ones for me, your efforts must be loudly applauded.:bowdown:
We've been to many meets and gatherings over the years and this nano is up there with the best of them it was definately a Carlsberg moment..
If you have never attended a nano meet then please make the effort to get to one, even if you don't need any work doing on your car I would still encourage you to attend just for the social side of the event.
Thanks again guys and girls, we will try to make the September nano and also hope that some of you will get to the club national weekend at Anglesey in August.

Ian and Jan

Back home in Leeds after another great weekend, still dislike the M6 with a passion mind.
Great to see so many attending, actually over 40 cars Sat!!
Hats off to the rest of the Nano crew, Steve with wires everywhere and still finding time to get the missus to deliver some parts to me on the Sunday it will be the next thing i do to my car Steve, many thanks. Rob (Trebor) actually spending that much time helping others he was heading for home Sat night with no ICE fitted in his own dash, just a hole where it should be with wires hanging out. Thanks again Rob for picking us up at the hotel for the evening get together :).
Thanks to whoever came around with tea and biscuits when we were busy working, much appreciated
Total admiration for the one man army known to us as Arctic. The man never stopped over the two days, a true gent. ( Glad i could help you out with the Aircon fan problem my old mate).:bowdown::laughing2:
Great to see Ian ( Ian G) and his lovely boss, sorry wife.
Absolute pleasure to be with like minded people

Dave & Marina
