THe Two-Sixties forum

A post to let you know that the site is currently down until we sort out a major security issue from hackers. This will not be resolved in days unfortunately as we will also take the opportunity to refresh.

Sorry for any problems this may create, especially with the heated screens currently going out. If you have any problems please post or PM here and we will pick it up.

Tim

Could a mod please pin this thread. :)

Reebs 27th April 2017 19:19

Sorry to hear that Tim, happy to oblige. Thread stuck for the time being :}

Tim 27th April 2017 23:17

Thanks Paul.

Tim 28th April 2017 10:53

I've had a couple of queries about personal data.

We are 100% confident there was no issue with this side of the forum. No data has been taken, its more to do with redirection on access. No personal data or logins have been compromised. However while its down we are taking the opportunity to carry out some VB and host upgrades etc. This may require you to enter a new password when you first log in.

How is it going, when will it be up and running again?

Dominic22 5th May 2017 06:44

Hi Peter

Yes.... We have bought all the new bits needed etc and Tim was hoping this week to have it all back and running, but will have a chat over the weekend with him to see how they are getting on....

It's a long story.... but will be up soon with the help of Tim's son and a couple of others who are more IT inclined.

Mine is in I just need to do the wiring for the heater elements. If you have Auto wipers order a new base for the sensor as this is not easily removed from the old screen. I paid £30 for one off Ebay.

Seems it's crashed again!

There's still some bugs! Links to other threads within the forum brings up a 404 Not Found message :(

Bit of a faff, what you need to do is go to the header address and replace the "www9.mg-cars.org.uk" at the start with "www.two-sixties.co.uk"

steve 579 13th May 2017 13:30

this is off topic but as there is a link to the 260 club here goes, I have owned a 260 for more than 10 years and have registered on the forum ,at a guess more than nine years, I have tried emailing and have even asked in the past how I can upgrade but I am met with a wall of silence, if anyone from the 260s bother to read this you can reply to me at [email protected]

Tim 13th May 2017 14:28

No record of your email address or posts from you Steve, need a bit more to check but once you register you would have been given a link to the questionnaire which needs completing and returning. Not getting that back will stop any progression I'm afraid. Having a V8, completing the questionnaire and belonging to the MGOC is all that's needed.

tim I joined on the 04.09.2007 and my name is on page 4 of the s and I am 25th on the list, there is a green dot at the end of my name. I have tried many times including today to find how I can open the forum but to no avail, steve moore

Tim 15th May 2017 10:04

I've found your details and you are a 'registered user' Steve but need your specific details via the questionnaire. Can send you a Word doc to complete if Nich's link does not work for you.

FLYING BANANA 15th May 2017 15:00

I've managed to sign in ok but the banner at the top of the page cuts through my profile and notifications. Only just found a message from last month sent to me. I have replied to the member concerned on the 260's and on here.

Nice to the site back up and running.

Two-Sixties server 'down' again?
Same for everyone? (Can't find the server...).

Might just be from you cache memory; try to refresh the page. Mine then says that the server is AWOL.

mmmmH. Odd. Can't get it on my iPhone either (home WiFi or 3G). All other sites like this one, OK. Must be me, I guess! Thanks for the feedback.

David
