Thomas, don't worry about what others think everyone is entitled to their opinion. Whether they should share it or not is debatable,best leave them to it and use your energy on something worthwhile.

I’m admin in two Rover MG groups and they’re certainly not going down hill and the only breaking the rules earn you a ban. On Facebook you can block people then they won’t bother you unlike here where you can’t so he’ll still see what you’ve posted

Simple solution, don’t go on faceache.

There is life outside that particular brand of social media.

I personally don't use the facebook group, but then again, I don't use facebook. Just stick to the proper forums I reckon because he doesn't go on here.

Is meerkat the bloke who does the how-to youtube videos wearing a meerkat mask? I'm not gonna get into anything because I don't know much about him, but I've seen a few of his videos complaining about some guys on the facebook group and the club forums. Some people just like confrontation, not worth it

In the immortal words once used of Basil Fawlty by a psychiatrist: "Enough material there for an entire conference"... Until that conference takes place, I would agree that Meerkat is best ignored.

Are you an actual man, or a pre-pubescent girl? Because if its the former, you need to get a grip. Why people get still get bent out of shape over the internet is beyond me.

No, Thomas is a 16 year old lad, who maybe is venting his spleen on here to his mates, rather than keeping quiet, or self harming, or worse.

Internet bullying has claimed many a young persons life, ffs treat it as serious instead of ridiculing him.

On a serious note, the problem with the internet is that too many people believe what they read on it.
Block or ignore the bullies. An open platform for anyone to say anything is a dangerous thing and everyone needs to wake up to that, which I think people are doing but slowly.
Thomas don’t even read Meerkats stuff anymore. He has some serious psychological problems which I will not expand on any further.

I left a big 75 Facebook group yesterday, there were lots of great people there but a lot of bell-ends too.

I Thomas has put up with a lot of stick from members on this forum too, I’m not referring to what you have posted, but in the past people have criticised him for having big ideas and a collection of half working cars. As for the idiot he refers to in his opening post, he was a member on here briefly,vand caused a lot of trouble, rubbing people up the wrong way, so was banned and rightfully so.
You may think that Andy’s reply was a bit sharp, but people like Thomas are the ones who will keep the Rover75 memory going. Given what he put up with from members when he first joined, people being suspicious that he was a banned member returning in disguise, we are very quick to spring to his defence;)

Sometimes that is the price of discussing politics on Facebook.
I am sorry Thomas to hear that Meerkat has tried to involve you. What are your options/choices?

1. Leave Facebook

2. As suggested by Canonite in post 17, report Meerkat to the UK police for allegedly stalking you. I add, you would need to evidence this for the police to investigate and take action under the Sexual Harassment Act and in law he is innocent until proven guilty.

3. Ignore Meerkat on Facebook. He is old news and has not published any new videos on YouTube for at least 1 year.

4. Change your name on Facebook and circulate it, only to people you have met and trust. This is a popular option. In one of the groups I belong to, I am called Ronaldo and not by my real name.

To be honest, who cares if Meerkat visits the OC, I for one do not. He is a sad and mixed up individual who hates this club and he holds a low opinion of our cars. His material is tired, repetitive and it is not helpful or inspiring. He was banned from here years ago.

This is that Meerkat guy off youtube who tears things apart in low resolution video, and thinks this is a big service to the world/internet while wearing the rubber mask.

That’s the one secure mental hospital material he is.
