Separating Electrical Connections

I know there is a number of different connectors in the Rover wiring and I always seem to struggle to separate them.

My latest struggle has been with the one linking the vanity light in the sun visor to the main wiring. Try as I may I could not do it and had to resort to snipping the wires.

Anyone have the answer?

From memory( & it's not that good:o) I thought you just push a little tab in & pull:shrug:

No tab that I could see. The connector seems quite long for what it is - these are very small wires and connector is a good inch or more.

Little black plugs like this https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...6&d=1343650037
squeeze then pull

My dad used to struggle with seeing the clips, until he bought a standard pair of reading glasses. His varifocals only worked for close up when looking down at things through the bottom (varifocal) part of the lenses. When looking upwards at anything the distance part only works. Just a suggestion and not trying to be funny!

Eyes are not what they used to be but don't use specs for close work (reading etc). Definitely no clips or tabs but maybe Suzublu's suggestion to squeeze is the answer.

You can't beat a good squeeze on a pull! :getmecoat:
