All been well Dave the lord Lincs is organizing East Kirkby again this year and would like to put together a provisional attendance list to gauge if members would like to attend if you are interested can you please add your names to the list below I will add relevant information as I get it from the mid Lincs group

Sounds interesting but I will take some convincing that its worth a 370 mile round trip.

It was a great show year before last and always good to see the Lancaster taxiing. You never know they might have got the Mosquito ready for a run out this time as well :)

Thanks for that. At first I thought it was a 300 mile round trip, but on checking further it turned out to be 370, which I consider to be way too far for a one day event. So I'll be giving it a miss, but hope to attend meets closer to home. .

Anyway, I hope all who attend have a most enjoyable day.

Hi Richard, that's good news old son.
Put my name on the list please but at this stage it will have to be provisional, can't drive at present and havn't done for months. Going to hosp on Thurs for a back scan to see if or what can be done, can't even get round the house without 2 sticks, certainly can't drive at present. Car just been in for M O T. last week and had done 160 miles since last test, glad to say it passed.
Hope you and the family are keeping well and away from this NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- covid.
Remember me to your dad and look forward to seeing him again.
Had a kind offer from 'Diesel Driver' to say if he is at home in July and I'm still not driving he would bring me down.
Anyway, enough of my woe's, hope to see you all again before much longer.

Camping at East Kirkby
 

Does anyone know if you can park a camper van at the show and sleep over? We want to make it part of a mini break.

i'll be there for my first Meet :drool4:

You can't sleep over at the museum I know a few members have stayed over at a campsite very close from memory ssizefive and astraeus so maybe these guys can give you more information maybe one of them will catch up with the thread or send a pm

After spending hours looking for a place to stay have concluded is best to drive there and back which I don't really want to do, but don't want to pay to stay overnight with all the ridiculous restrictions.

Great you've got your passes for this one names are added to the list 😊 yeah dad and family are all well Jon thanks just looking forward to things getting back to near normal hopefully will be by July Dave lincs has all the work to do especially if we still have restrictions in place fingers crossed and look forward to catching up with everyone thanks for supporting 👍👍

It's the day before our wedding anniversary BUT

SWMBO might be at work on Saturday 3rd- won't know until about 3 weeks beforehand.
