Check Engine message
 
Dear All,

some weeks ago I had a check engine message on the IPK.

I did the EGR cleanout, put the Viton rings on that had been waiting all winter, and replaced the PCV filter and cleaned the housing.

The message went away and has not been back since.

I thought I would post this as I was not aware the car control system could detect any problems from any of the above components.

I reckon the explanation must be that the car must be fitted with a lazy owner sensor.

Have you checked the connections on the top of the fuel filter, as these can sometimes do that! ;)
