Door lock conundrum
 

My passenger door lock has decided to start playing silly burghers.

If I try to either lock or unlock the door from the button on the centre console, the child lock button doesn't move and door stays either locked or unlocked.

If I manually unlock the door from the inside door release handle and then press the locking button on the remote, the door locks fine. If I then try to unlock the door with the remote, the door stays locked.

Is anyone able to advise?

Sounds like a weak actuator...

Yep the locking assembly needs replacing.

Thanks all. Just found a s/h, working item on the Bay of Fleas for 24 notes inc. delivery. So fingers crossed!
