Anyone with AutoAid Breakdown ?
I ask simply because of reading this BTCC anouncement made last week
"The AmDtuning.com team can today confirm that RCIB Insurance and AutoAid Breakdown will take on the role of title sponsors for the team’s new MG programme during the 2018 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season." That prompted me to have a look at the AutoAid website. https://www.autoaidbreakdown.co.uk/B...nServices.aspx I thought it looked like a good deal for less than £44. Has anyone used them and if so would you recommend them. Cheers Ian |
I haven’t but may switch when I renew my insurance

They had very good reviews when I went to them a few years ago. Basically, at that time, you paid for repairs and claimed the money back. All the (independant) reviews said that they had a cheque by return of posting the receipted invoices. I've since gone back to RAC as a "new member" with a discounted price!!!

I have it....used once when my van broke down and the service was great.

I've been with them for a few years having seen very good reviews. Never had to call them out though.

I have AutoAid but thankfully I have not had to make use of their service.

I've been using them for the past 5 years and I've had one callout. My own stupid fault, ran out of fuel!
They have been fine with me and so far, very efficient. Mick |
AutoAid
I've been with them for a couple years joined via M.S.E.website. Never had to call them out though.

Not used them myself, but am aware of many that have without problem.
They work in similar fashion to AA/RAC now, but much cheaper. UK only I think, and don't cover Commercials. |
I was with GEM for several years. Called them out once and were good. Recently moved to AutoAid but not had to call them out. GEM price was good for 4 family members. AutoAid price better for 2 family members.
