The Law

Hi,
I need to seek forgiveness for breaking the Law by not parking next to the Rover below.

In my defence, we are travelling to Spain and my tool kit does not carry the amount of Gaffer Tape should the Rot Worm jump ship to my car.

Thank you for your understanding.

I had a white 1992 216 GTi - great car - would consider another 216/218/220 GTI but they seem quite rare - maybe they have rusted away -saying that when i lost mine in a crash on the M62 in 2003 her 11 year old body work was perfect. :}

That's a classic that is :D

I had a couple of 214's (before the current 45's & 75's) the last one being a 1995 (N) SEi in Nightfire Red.....I loved that car but it did start to rot in the many usual places.

Had a 216 Auto (with the Honda engine) in Nightfire Red as a company car back in the day. Loved it. :D

Didn't have to worry about rust - we were doing high mileages so got a new one every 2 years. My next car was a Montego - under rated in my opinion. When I had the 216 most of the service engineers went for the Ford Orion Ghia. Despite being an auto the 216 never got left behind from a standing start. Great car. :}

:}

The estate was the best I've had since the Triumph mk.2. That M series engine went on to be the T (I believe).
