Interior transformation! on the Monogram TF
 

As some of you know, we bought a Typhoon TF earlier in the year and for those of you interested, thought I would update you on what we're doing with it.

So over the last couple of weeks myself and my girlfriend have been busy sourcing a new interior for the TF, and were extremely luck to come across a pair of rare oxford cream leather seats! We'd been thinking about our options on what to do with the interior, and it was either change it to cream leather, or to blue alcantara to match my ZT. Well, after seeing these cream seats it was decided!

We were also able to source the rest of the interior to go with it in cream - the dash, door cards, centre consol, t-bar cover etc and a lovely set of wood panels and trims. Also ordered cream leather gear and handbrake gaitors, and luckily the seats came with a cream and black leather steering wheel to match, and a cream and chrome perforated hand brake grip - hadn't seen one like this before.

So I have one very happy girlfriend :D

Had her working hard to get them ready though, needed a good clean ;)

You've been busy! Very nice indeed, well worth all the effort. That's one smart looking TF.

I liked the initial interior but then the transformation is sooo much better! It looks really really good. Like new. Right, off to hit eBay for dream buying mgf's.

The Creamy beige interior is just right for sooooooooooo many colours and really lifts the car unlike the dark and to me drab interiors so often found in the MGF and MG TF.

I believe is was called Luxury Parchment.

Yes me too, I saw the original and thought yeh thats nice! Then the transformation is like SAY WHAT!! Very nice job you two, what a difference! You can't beat a bit of cream and walnut :D

Just one tiny thing I noticed....I saw that you were using CIF, was that on the leather? It is very effective but also very harsh. I would be tempted to spray a couple of coats of leather aerosol lacquer onto the leather - to protect those lovely seats, as you may have removed some/all of the original lacquer during cleaning. You wouldn't want all that hard work going to waste if jean dye/bad soils got in to the actual colour, as then they would need re-colouring. But you may be ok though as car seats do usually have a very thick coat on them.

If it wasn't used on the leather then please ignore everything I have said :D
