Ipk coding with toaf, I need help
Hello everyone.
I have a lot of problems with functions on my Rover 75, 2001. 2.0 cdt 116 ps But this time i need help with my instrument cluster, is there any way to code it with toaf diagnostic tool. When i tryed last time i found message " BF- IKE - EEPROM error, coding imcorrect/ incomplete" Any advice how to solve this problem? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Fit the 93S56 EEprom from your original IPK into the replacement......job done.
A previously used IPK cannot be coded with either T4 or TOAF I'm afraid. Best of luck Brian :D |

Is that possible as well when you want to upgrade to a HighLine IPK? Or must the two IPK's be the same type? |

There should be a way... if you just can source used IPK's, there must be a way to do it... maybe just need to update VIN and mileage?

IPK is easy to read and modify, you can read the chip with some tool like XPROG, OBD cable like INPA, or even digiprog. But I'm not sure how to update VIN. LCM is also easy to update. EWS I have no experience on that. |
