Front Grill Query ?

Hi All
Been looking through images of MG's and noticed that all the silver models have either colour coded or chrome grills mine is black (which I think looks cool) some might not . Is this a option or standard ?

Cheers
Paul

Mk1's had stainless mesh, MK2's have the black mesh.

Thanks

I have black mesh and it has a black surround I'm trying to upload a picture to show what I mean.

I can only see this photo in the gallery, which unfortunately doesn't show the grill. Should there be another one?

Don't worry, just seen this photo - not sure why it's not showing up in the gallery - gremlins I suspect :shrug:.

To answer the original question, the black grill surround is non standard and presumably was done by a previous owner :}.

Thanks for that

Thanks for that what do you think ? Do you think it suits it ,I do I think it makes it stand out a little bit more than either chrome or colour coded

Not too my personal taste, but I wouldn't worry, I'm a "dyed in the wool" old fashioned walnut and chrome obsessed Rover owner :o. You'd probably hate my car! :}

It does break up the silver though and it's always nice to have something a little different to the crowd. We all have different tastes, so if you like it, keep it and enjoy it :}.
