Continetal Headlight?
I have been told there is a switch on the back of our headlights that converts to driving on the continent, what should I be looking for .
Cheers. Rev |
There is a lever which you lift to convert beam pattern, only on projectors though:cool:

Yes, I've moved this a couple of times. Rover, in their wisdom, designed it with a nice sharp edge too!

This is what happens inside.
https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/c4...0j498jbm6g.jpg The lever covers the 'notch' that normally provides the kick-up at the LHS of the beam. When the lever is 'on' the kick-up is lost. It's worth knowing that because the usual outer edge kick-up you get is missing. Illumination of road signs is therefore less effective when driving on the right. TC |
Thanks for starting this thread, I never new about this and I am currently in France and my current eurolight stickers are all brown. So fun job for tomorrow Find the lever, cut my finger and then clean off the old glue.
Always something to do..:D:D |

My rover has been to France a number of times without me altering anything. I just kept an old stick on blanking kit for a car I used to have in the glove compartment. If gendarmes had taken an interest in my car, I would have just stuck it on somewhere on the headlight. Just keep beam low at night.
