help or info needed.

info display shows p/s rear door open when closed also interior light stays on this doesn’t happen all the time. if I put headlights on and use dash dimmer the door light goes off as well as the interior light but then both come back on when I adjust dash lights to being less bright ? if I lock car up on fob after 10 min's alarm goes off, lock it just on inside switch locking nothing ? rear door locks and un-locks as normal as do all the doors.

has the interior light trip switch with-in the lock failed.

can the alarm be by-passed or switched off but still be locked on fob

Sure seems like it.

As for disabling the alarm, without disabling remote locking, nah.

Check your battery and for moisture in the car. These two items can throw up issues before they become obvious.
