This car is 1 of 2 made in this colour with this engine spec, the other car is showing untaxed and uninsured etc, so its a bit of an assumption, but this is the last one on the road. So the car is rarer than a Bugatti Veyron :D

See Monogram information here
http://www.mg-rover.info/monogram/bi...t/overview.htm

For my history with the car, see my gallery here
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=168646

I'm putting the car up for sale as Spares or Repair (hopefully repair) basically the car is loosing coolant, and as I said in a recent thread, the Magic has gone for me, I am not the worlds biggest 1.8 fan, even though I have tried my best to get on with the car (see my history with it), and as a daily driver, I just need to move on for a while and away from the marque.

I don't know the HG has gone, but I am selling under worse case scenario I guess, so as not to hide anything.

The Good
Mileage: 89000
MOT: 14th November 2015
(Car is taxed and insured so can be test driven/moved)
Bodywork in excellent condition, there is one little stone chip on the bonnet, there are no corner scrapes at all.
MG Rover side skirts fitted
Working Fan
No dash lights on
Bluetooth USB headunit fitted with microphone for telephone calls.
Car has never overheated, as the coolant has been topped up regularly
No seat tears
Xenon Headlights
Two Keys

The Bad
Loosing coolant, possible HGF
Will need a couple of tyres shortly
Very little history, unsure if its been repaired before, and unsure on belt changes.
Wheels could do with a refurb.

The Spares (if required)
Alloy Inlet manifold, never fitted
Full set of PRT coolant pipes, still in packaging
3 Door cards with Green Alcantara trim (missing one) (although I need to check with the chap who gave them me, see if he wants them back)
Original Dash Trim

The Price
£600 ono

Car is located in Boston, Lincolnshire, PM me for my number happy to chat

Would have to say nope, I dont think it will, I did when I PMed you, but just been out and topped up with water, ran it up to temp, and well this looks like water in the oil filler cap to me, whether its condensation, I dont know

Theres no oil in the coolant header tank, and the header tank is showing no signs of pressurisation due to exhaust gases.

Theres no mayo on the dipstick.

Ah that is not good, if i could have got it home i would have had the car. sadly i will have to let it go . damn. :( if I wanted the car for parts for my car if ever it needs panels I would have risked it, but no way I would break it and do not want to blow the engine up travelling to York. Thanks Gary

Don't suppose anyone on the forum has a recovery truck to bring it up to York .
So long as it would not cost me an arm and a leg lol
